The Center
The Center is a program that PUNCH partners with to help assist the homeless and low income families in our community. In the building there is also a food pantry and thrift store there is information on the days and hours on The Center website.
They have meals available for breakfast and lunch. They have support programs to help with jobs, mental health, laundry, showers, clothing, and many more. Volunteers to help with meals and other projects is always welcomed. Go to the website for more information:

Who is PUNCH?
We are the people of the Hilltop Neighborhood Churches that care about our neighbors and neighborhood. Thank you for taking the time to become acquainted with our ministries.
PUNCH is a neighborhood ministry of the churches of the Davenport Hilltop. Working together to make this a better place to live and work.

Can be made during the year and dropped off at First Baptist Church, 1401 N Perry Street or Third Missionary Baptist Church, 222 West 14th Street.

Free Produce and Herbs at the Community Gardens

We also have a community garden located on Third Missionary Baptist Property located on 14th & Harrison.
Community Gardens for 2025 are located at
1401 North Perry Street (Behind First Baptist off 14th or 15th Street)

Events in 2025
Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Herrington Park in Davenport, Iowa. Lots of Easter Eggs for the kids, Easter Bunny, Games, Free Lunch, and Prizes. Join us for this great family event.
June 14, 2025 - Juneteenth Celebration down on the levee at LeClaire Park - Saturday, June 14 from 11 am to 4 pm
July 26, 2025 - BIX Fest at The Center parking lot - Brass Band and treats shared with spectators during race.
August - September 2025 - Memorial to the Lost Display - to remember and honor those lost in our community to violence. At the end of the moving display a remembrance celebration will be held at The Center.
Trunk or Treat - Friday, October 31, 2025 - 5 pm to 6:30 pm
Thanksgiving Free Dinner - Thursday, November 27 - 11 am to 1 pm at First Baptist Church at 1401 N Perry Street, Davenport, IA
